    Separation counselling

Separation counseling is now a necessity in today’s world. With 50 to 60% of couples in first relationships separating and 70 -75% in second relationships, I teach couples the importance of ending their relationship with mutual respect for one another and the significance of having a cohesive on-going relationship particularly for the mental health of the children involved in divorce and separation. Children suffer with grief and trauma when their family unit breaks down. There are a lot of losses for all concerned, Loss of partner, loss of family unit, loss of family home, loss of finance and loss of friendships and social lives. My role is to be a mediator and give each person tools to deal with the situation.

Features

  • 70% of second marriages fail today because of the blended family and the dynamics of past relationships.

  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can develop following a traumatic event that threatens your safety or makes you feel helpless.

  • Many people who suffer with sleeping disorders are anxious. I use psychotherapy, relaxation techniques and EEG Neurological Biofeedback to treat this disorder.

  • We all live in a very anxiety provoking world today and many thousands of people experience bouts of anxiety or depression.
