    Mindanao Peace Agreement Hwpl

In an interview with HWPL in 2015, PTV journalist Elizabeth Kachin recalled the 2014 Mindanao peace agreement that said, “When Mr. Lee intervened, he was a foreigner, he`s not a Filipino, but he came from South Korea all the way to talk to them… religious leaders and ask them for peace. The 400 years of the colonial period threatened the lives of the Moros (s. in the Philippines). For the people of Mindanao, the last moro country following the history of land loss, the armed struggle that took place in the 20th and 21st centuries is the question of survival with their identity as Muslims against the vast majority. Armed conflicts with the organization of religious principles in the Philippines began to reign since the 1960s. Despite national and international efforts to reach a peace agreement, the conflict lasted more than 40 years, leaving only the devastation of the country, which left 120,000 people dead. There are many cases where the deliberate resolution of warriors and conflicts is encouraged, and among them, the achievements of peace parks to mitigate armed conflict and thwart border areas are particularly noteworthy. Including the German Ghent Grunes, the Peace Artks along the borders of Ecuador-Peru, Finland-Russia and South-Afica-Zimbabwe-Mozambique (Grand Limpopo Transfrontier Park) are good examples of successful cases. Even Nelson Mandela, a symbol of South Africa`s democratization and a Nobel laureate, is firmly committed to the creation of peace parks. This agreement played a decisive role in usding out a new era of peace for Mindanao. Following the waves of peace, a peace agreement was also signed between the government and the rebels, which finally ended the country`s long civil war.

In 2014, the President of Heavenly Culture, of World Peace, signed a peace agreement with the former governor of Maguindanao, Esmael Mangudadatu, and His Excellency Fernando Capalla, members of congress and emeritus of the Archbishop of Davao. Since then, HWPL has worked with local organizations in Mindanao to open peace-building channels, including peace education for students and interfaith dialogues for mutual understanding. And the next day, January 24, 2014, a peace agreement was signed between the representatives of Islam and the Catholic Church, promising not to create conflicts. This agreement played a decisive role in usding out a new era of peace for Mindanao. Mindanao ends the war and unites in peace. The country became the model of world peace by officially declaring January 24th HWPL day. Manila – Maguindanao, Philippines – A spokesman for peace and president of Celestial Culture, Peace, Light Restoration (HWPL), Mr. Man Hee Lee, who resolved a 40-year conflict in Mindanao between government forces and the Moro-Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), has returned to the region for the 2nd annual commemoration of the declaration of world peace. For the first time in history, President Man Hee Lee proclaimed the Declaration of World Peace on May 25, 2013 and is celebrating his second anniversary this year.
